There's so much for our visitors to do and see at Tyddyn Môn, it's easy to
forget where we came from and why. By Spending time at Tyddyn Môn
our visitors are not only enjoying one of the most vibrant and varied family
days out on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey they are supporting a registered
charity that has been transforming lives (and land) since 1988.
Tyddyn Môn was founded by the parents of adults with learning difficulties who wanted a more constructive
and rewarding occupation for their sons and daughters. Well, it doesn't get much more constructive or rewarding
than rebuilding an entirely derelict smallholding and creating, developing and running a successful family tourist
attraction for over 2 decades!

Tyddyn Môn continues to provide day care, training and support for adults with learning difficulties, all of whom
contribute to the development and running of the farm and its attractions. To date, the achievements of the
team here have included:

ºDraining, fencing and feeding the land
ºRenovating the derelict buildings
ºPlanting over 2,000 trees!
ºAcquiring, housing and looking after the farm animals
ºFounding an organic farm shop

Tyddyn Môn is all about having a great time, in the natural environment of a working
smallholding. Bright lights, hustle-bustle and high octane thrills we don't provide,
but if you want something to see and do for all the family, in the peace and
tranquillity of a beautiful coastal farm, then Tyddyn Môn has it all.
